Strengths
Beasley has straight up dominated college basketball and has nothing else to prove on an individual basis on the college level. Beasley has an excellent offensive repertoire and can score from the inside and outside.
Beasley has several ways to score down in the block, including drop steps, hooks, fade-away jumpers, and dribbling past his man to take it to the hoop. From the outside, Beasley is able to catch and release and has range as far as the NBA three-point line.
Beasley is as athletic as you can get, able to run the break, jump out of the gym, and bring it home with a powerful dunk. He is a highlight unto himself. To say that Beasey is confident is an understatement. He's got that swagger on the court and the best part of it is that Beasley walks the walk and not just talk the talk.
Weaknesses
Beasley has long had the tag of being uncoachable. He's proven his critics wrong thus far in his first season at K-State, but it seems like a stigma that will stick until he proves people wrong at the next level.
Also, Beasley gets knocked the way Rudy Gay used to get knocked - the game seems to come so easy to them that they don't appear to give maximum effort. However, Gay was able to quiet his critics with his breakout season in 2007-08. Beasley will get his chance to do the same, sooner rather than later.
